5 Things You Need to Know This Morning

Good morning and happy hump day!  Here are the 5 things you need to know.

• Yesterday, Apple unveiled the highly anticipated iPad mini and a host of other new Apple products.  While this was going on, social gaming company Zynga laid off 100+ employees.
• According to a new study in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine, beans could help control blood pressure and reduce heart risks for diabetes patients.
• Here’s a tip: If you rob a bank, don’t choose one where you’re on a first name basis with employees.  A Bridgewater, Mass woman was arrested after she was recognized at one of the banks she was trying to rob.  The jig was up when the teller asked, ”Do you want to make a deposit Kerri?”.  Oops!
• Your shower cap, can be used for more than just keeping your hair dry.  When you’re done using your broom, simply place a shower cap over the fibers while stowing it away to make sure none of the grime spreads throughout your house.
• The NFL, is sometimes known as the No Fun Leage.  Not to be outdone, David Stern and the NBA brass have put a time limit of 90 seconds for pregame handshakes and rituals.
