We are currently seeking a highly driven, professional Part-Time Brand Ambassador – Floater to represent our client in retail activations.
This position is primarily responsible for working on the latest Gaming Products. This position will also be responsible for intercepting customers, delivering key product messages and encouraging the purchases in retail stores.
If you enjoy interacting with others, and are comfortable showcasing new and exciting gaming technology to customers, if you would rather study physics engines than physics, know the difference between an FPS, MMORPG, and MMO, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for.
The Retail Brand Ambassadors will:
- Enthusiastically represent Mosaic and our clients’ gaming products
- Engage consumers and share key messages about gaming product offers & releases
- Educate consumers on our clients’ social media channels and how they join the conversation
- Persuade and influence customers to purchase the products
- Present a professional appearance
- Exude high levels of energy and enthusiasm while drawing consumers in with a people pleasing personality
- Create a “buzz” to gain consumer attention both in store, and online (when applicable)
- Create a memorable and fun brand experience for customers
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of various systems, including: Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo WII
- Ability to travel within designated territory (approx. 80 miles)
- In-depth understanding of Gaming world, trends and the industry as a whole
- Enjoy the community element of video gaming
- Stay up to date on events happening in your local community, including tournaments, etc
- Interest in gaming conventions (E3 Expo, BlizzCon, MAGfest, etc)
- Previous retail, promotional and assisted sales experience is a plus
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and positive personality
- Independent and motivated individuals whose past experience clearly demonstrates team player qualities
- Possess a level of interest and understanding in social media, including Facebook and Twitter
- Interest in technology, sales and marketing
- Access to daily e-mail, internet and smart phone
- Understanding of reporting needs and importance of clear, concise and accurate end of day reports
- Responsible for developing relationships with in-store management in local stores
- Ability to travel (local) to different stores within region
- Enjoy working in a retail environment & engaging consumers
- Knowledge and understanding of local influencers in the community
- Dependable and reliable – will work all required shifts & submit any reporting on time
- Typical work schedule is Saturday & Sunday, 10-12 hours per weekend
- Must have a PC computer with internet/email access
