Good morning and happy hump day!  Here’s what you need to know this morning.

  • According to a study commissioned by The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the facilities that make electric vehicles have been revealed to be more polluting than those that make gas or diesel cars.
  • Looking for a sign that the economy is improving, look no further than underwear sales.  A leading market research company, has shown an uptick in sales of men’s underwear over the past year.  HanesBrands Inc has seen sales increase steadily over the past three years.
  • Superstar CEO Jack Welch is stepping down from his positions at Fortune and Reuters following his Tweet about the September Job’s Report. Welch insinuated the BLS was cooking the books.
  • A new study, published Oct. 1 in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, for the first time draws a direct correlation between combat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and criminal activity.
  • The Daily Meal has revealed its list of America’s Best Pizzas.  See if your city made the list.
