Jeremy Lin Hired as New Spokesman for Volvo

No single NBA player has had a breakout year quite like the one Jeremy Lin enjoyed last year. A journeyman basketball player from Harvard who slept on his brother’s couch after being cut from the Houston Rockets found his way to the big apple with the New York Knicks and made the absolute best of the situation.

As how most of these things go, sponsorship offers began to come in from everywhere and for just about everything.

Among the brands able to put Lin’s pen to paper were Swedish automotive brand, Volvo. Starring in “The Unexpected Ones,” the short half-minute spot details Lin’s own views on his rise  in the NBA as he gets behind the wheel of the XC60.
