RIVS Allows Recruiters And Hiring Managers to Conduct Interviews from a Mobile Device
Chicago based start-up, RIVS, announced the launch of the most recent version of an iPhone and iPad application that allows employers and human resources departments to access their cloud-based jobs and job applicants in order to review, rate, and sort written and recorded voice and video interviews. The application is the first of its kind with these capabilities.
David Wieland, the Founder and CEO of RIVS, considers this tool, among other high-tech RIVS offerings, crucial in order to adapt and succeed in the current recruiting marketplace:
“At RIVS, we never stop seeking ways to solve the major challenges that today’s employers face. The creation of the first iPhone app to facilitate advanced mobile digital screening is the product of hundreds of hours of research, development, and problem solving, something we have grown accustomed to since our inception. The hiring landscape is changing and employers need to be equipped with the best tools to compete in a tough market.”
Not only can recruiters use the RIVS iPhone (and iPad) application to review digital interviews, but they can also conduct the interviews and rate them for easy immediate reference and sharing. In the hiring world, many of the best candidates are often in consideration for multiple positions; so a few minutes can be the difference between procuring a top candidate for a job and losing the talent to a competitor. With the rating system, users can prioritize follow-up with top contenders for a job, preventing costly lapses in time between completed interviews and recruiter responses.
The mobile application integrates with other RIVS cloud-based hiring solution tools, including the video interviewing platform. The company also offers a complementary iPhone app for job seekers that enables them to interview remotely for open roles through high quality written, voice, and video submissions.
