Style Guide: The Rise of The Three Piece Suit

Men’s fashion and style is going through something of a renascence. Now, more than any time in history men are concerned about their appearance and spending record dollars to keep up their appearances.

Brands like J Crew, Banana Republic and Gant by Michael Bastian are at the heart of this style resurgence. The need for men to look like we just got done chopping wood in the hills of the Appalachian mountains has been replaced with a more refined silhouette.

The revolution and the rise of the 3 piece suit will be televised and publicized. From the August issue GQ featuring Joseph Gordon Levitt on the cover to one of my favorite shows, Suits , style is everywhere and the 3-piece suit is your calling card.
