Daily Tickr: How to Ask Why You Didn’t Get the Job

First, let me start by saying there maybe times when you will never know why you didn’t get the job.  How you approach the conversation to get feedback on your interview could change that.  There is no price in the world that could be put on the feedback that an interviewer gives you.  This information will help you in future interviews.

Demanding feedback, and telling a potential employer how much of a superstar you are is probably the wrong approach.  If you really want to get feedback, the best thing for you to do is to drop them an email. Make it clear that you are listening to their feedback and that you want to improve.
