New Facebook HQ Designed by Architect Frank Gehry

Facebook may be taking a beating on Wall Street, but that hasn’t dampened their plans for expansion.  Facebook is being pretty tight lipped on the project. From what we’ve been able to verify, architect Frank Gehry will be taking the lead on the expansion project.

Planned to be linked by an underground tunnel, the new facility will be located just across the highway from the existing Facebook HQ and will add space for an additional 2,300 employees on top of their 6,000+.

The space itself will include a 420,000 sq-ft single-story warehouse topped with a garden that spans the entire roof, which will be dotted with cafes, micro-kitchens, and clusters of work-stations instead of any cubicles or offices.
