Daily Tickr: How to Network Without Being Sleazy

Networking is one of things that people are either really good at or they completely suck at.  Being bad at networking isn’t a bad thing because you can always improve.  Most jobs and business partnerships are achieved through networking.  I cannot stress how it important it is to not only network, but to cultivate your network.  So the next time you’re at a networking event, practice effective schmoozing.  Effective networking is about being positive rather than tearing down.  Be brief, and always have something interesting to say.
