Trending Stories: Chris Christie to Deliver GOP Keynote at Convention

The often controversial and outspoken Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, has been tapped to deliver the key note address at the upcoming Republican convention set to take place later this month. If the “R’s” are trying to rev up the base, they couldn’t have picked a better man than Christie.

Christie, who is expected to seek re-election in 2013, has been a rising national figure in the Republican Party and has received praise for tax cuts, trimming the budget and other measures in his mid-Atlantic state.
