Romney Selects Paul Ryan as Running Mate
Now things are going to start getting good. Just a few short hours ago, the presumptive Republican nominee, Mitt Romney announced his Vice Presidential running mate. After weeks of speculation, and question dodging, Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan, was announced as Mitt Romney’s running mate.
Not sure if this was intentional or coincidence, but Ryan was introduced on the USS Wisconsin, a World War II battleship that now is a museum that carries the name of Rep. Ryan’s home state.
Both parties have interesting views on how to create jobs and get our country moving in the right direction. Ladies and gentleman, we all know there’s a difference between what politicians say on the campaign trail versus what actually gets done once the oath of office has been taken.
Regardless of what party affiliation you have, it’s incumbent on all of us to make our voices heard and be at the forefront of the issues that we care about.
If you’re sick of the political adds, you haven’t seen anything yet. This is probably the most important election we have ever seen. There’s more money being spent on ads than the GDP of most small countries. As the Olympic games come to an end, the 2012 election officially kicked off today. Let the games begin!
