Breaking News: Iran Earthquakes Kill 40 – 50 People

Local Iranian news outlets are reporting two strong earthquakes struck northwest Iran on Saturday, killing between 40 and 50 people and injuring  around 400.   The first quake at 6.4 magnitude struck 60 km (37 miles) northeast of the city of Tabriz.  The second quake struck near the town of Varzgan. Six villages are reported to be completely destroyed.
