Style Tip: How to Wear Statement Blazers

Making a statement with a key item is one of the easiest ways to achieve style individuality.  However, it can also be a risky play.  If you get it wrong, you can get it REALLY wrong!  If you play your cards right, you can put together a look that others only wish they had.

A bold and creative blazer is a really great way to make a statement. Mixing tailoring, refined lines and structure, with a sense of playfulness and daring that can often make the difference between good style and great style.

You can get a great blazer anywhere.  Macy’s for example, has a tremendous lineup of blazers from a variety of designers.  The key to rocking a statement blazer is confidence.  You really have to want to wear a statement blazer and be totally comfortable with it.

To anchor your outfit, the simplest thing to do is to pair your blazer with a chinos, white pants or a pair of boot-cut dark-wash jeans.  As the weather cools down, the statement blazer is a great options to include in your rotation.
