Misc

Regardless of how much you prepare for an interview, there are just some things that you aren’t going to know about the interview process.  Well, at least that’s until now.

One of the things that I see a lot of whether I’m hosting a job fair or part of a recruiter’s recruiting process is how ill prepared most job seekers are.  Mostly this is seen with millenials.  This is probably indicative of larger issues, but simple interview etiquette has all but been forgotten.

Being aware of your surroundings and little things like not sitting until your interviewer does or until your asked to do so go such a long way in displaying your professionalism.  It’s all about standing out for all that right reasons that will get you one step to landing the job.

The Daily Tickr is a collection of  some of the more interesting stories that you may be able to find elsewhere on the internet.  I provide brief commentary on the topic at hand, and link out to the original article.  I just want to make it as easy as possible for you to get access to the stories that may be of interest to you.
