The path to becoming an author has never been easier. There are several self-publishing websites around that make the process of actually publishing your work as easy as up loading a Word document. But what if you wanted to publish an ebook?
According to many reports and by the closing of Borders bookstores, it would appear that ebooks are where everything is moving to. That being said, if you have a little creativity, and are passionate about a particular subject, you can publish an ebook that could help you get a job.
The first step in publishing any book is to focus on what you know about. This isn’t the time to start thinking about what you might be interested in or what you think people might be interested in reading. After you have identified a topic, you have to be able to connect all of the sentences to build a compelling story. Once you have these things down, and your ebook is published, you will have the satisfaction of being a published author which is a huge resume boost. Additionally, you have just illustrated that you can meet deadlines, and your ability to be a great communicator.
