Fisker Atlantic
The previous entry by Fisker, the Karma, made news when Just Bieber bought himself one for his 18th birthday. Aside from that, it was received with lukewarm response. The biggest problem was that some reported that the batteries kept the car from moving. That’s kind of a big deal if you’re dropping that kind of lettuce on a car.
Fisker was not deterred in the least bit. They are back with the Fisker Atlantic. Few specifics are known except for the fact that the Atlantic sports lithium ion batteries and a four-cylinder gas engine that acts as a generator to recharge the cells when you are driving long distances.
Details on the official launch are being kept quite, but if you are interested in placing a pre-order, you can do so here. The down payment for a pre-order is $5,000.
